At the market, Amy prepared her own ceviche (with scallops, octopus legs, and fish)... it looked picture perfect and tasted as good as the ones made by our seafood lady Señora Rosa! Later on, they both learned how to make one of Amazonia's classic dishes: tacacho. Mashing fried bananas and fried pork skin using a wooden mallet isn't as easy as it looks, but it sure leads to an incredibly delicious yet simple result.
Here's what Mike and Amy had to say about their Peruvian Food & Market Tour with Lima te Llena:
A fantastic way to submerge yourself in the local food markets and have a first hand experience of eating like a peruvian ... Get stuck in! Thank you so much Connie...
